The Scoot & Ride Push & Go is a 2-in-1 ride-on and stand-up scooter with one useful extra: an adjustable parent push bar. It lets an adult guide the scooter while a young child sits or stands, which can make short walks and early outings easier to manage. Removable footrests are included for seated, parent-assisted rides.

The push function is intended for children aged 1 to 3. As your child becomes more confident, the Push & Go can be used without the parent bar as a regular ride-on or scooter for children up to age 5.

Parent control for everyday outings

Three-height parent push bar

The rear push bar attaches to the footboard without tools and adjusts to three height positions. This gives adults a more comfortable pushing position and better control of the pace. For parents comparing a kids scooter with parent push bar, this is the feature that separates the Push & Go from the standard Highwaykick 1.

Removable footrests for seated rides

When your child is seated and being pushed, the footrests give little feet a place to rest. They attach to the footboard and can be removed with the supplied Allen key. Scoot & Ride recommends removing them when the scooter is used without the push bar.

Sitting or standing with adult assistance

The parent bar can be used while the child is seated or standing. An adult must operate the bar, and the child should not ride independently while it is attached.

A 2-in-1 scooter for independent riding

The core Highwaykick 1 design is still here. In ride-on mode, the seat adjusts from 22.5 to 29 cm and supports up to 20 kg. When your child is ready to stand, the seat converts into the scooter column without tools. The handlebar adjusts from 57 to 64 cm, and the deck supports up to 50 kg.

This means the Push & Go is not limited to parent-assisted trips. Remove the push bar and set up the scooter as directed in the manual, and it can continue as your child's riding skills develop.

Push & Go or standard Highwaykick 1?

Choose the Push & Go when you want a toddler scooter with parent handle, removable footrests and the option to guide the ride. Choose the Scoot & Ride Highwaykick 1 toddler scooter when your child will ride independently and you do not need a push bar.

The Push & Go bar is made for this model. It cannot be purchased separately and fitted to an existing Highwaykick 1.

Set up each ride carefully

The parent bar is for adult use only. Do not hang bags, shopping or other loads from it, as extra weight can affect control. Remove the push bar before your child rides independently, and remove the footrests when they are not required. Check the scooter, wheels and fittings before each ride, follow the product manual and supervise young riders closely.
