Frequently Asked Questions

What is a balance bike and how exactly does it work?

A balance bike is designed to help young kids learn to balance better in preparation for their real bike transition. Balance bikes do not have pedals. Kids use the whole balance bike to propel themselves forward by using their feet. The complexities of pedals and chains are removed from the balance bike so that the child can focus on the most important skill - balancing.

They can still steer the bike by turning the handlebars left and right. They can stop by putting their feet down.

Why is Kinder Kraft an excellent choice for balance bikes?

There are so many reasons Kinder Kraft is a brilliant choice for your kids. They have a lightweight yet sturdy design, they can be used by children as young as 2 years old, they can help improve coordination and balance maintenance, they have adjustable ergonomic seats, and have a safe finish too.

What safety equipment should my child wear when using a KK balance bike?

Make sure that your child is well-protected with the right gear as they learn how to use the balance bikes or a real bike with pedals. You need to provide a helmet that is properly fitted and has a secure strap closure, protective pads for elbows and knees, closed-toe shoes to protect the feet while riding, and reflective clothing, especially in low-light conditions.

How to maintain a KK balance bike?

Maintaining a balance bike is easy. You just have to check for signs of damage or wear regularly such as missing bolts, cracks in frames, busted wheels, etc. You also need to teach your child how to clean the bike by wiping off the frames with a clean cloth after every use. Ask for professional help if you have no idea how to repair a broken balance bike.

Do you have a range of colors to choose from?

Yes. Kinder Kraft balance bikes are available in three lovely colors such as blue, aqua, and pink.
