The Luna is an electric nursing chair upholstered in warm cream linen. The recline is electric, and the swivel base turns by hand through 270 degrees, then locks when you want the chair still. It glides too, so you can rock a baby to settle. It has square arms, a thick back cushion and a loose seat cushion, so it looks more like a small armchair than a piece of baby gear.
Of the three chairs in our nursing chair range, this one arrives in the smallest carton, which counts when you're carrying it up stairs or round a tight corner. What the Luna has
Electric recline
The recline runs from a small panel on the side of the arm. You press it with one hand and keep the other free for the baby, so there's no lever to hunt for at 3am.
270° swivel with a lock
Turn the chair by hand to face the cot, the window or the door. Once you're settled, lock the base so the chair stays where you put it.
Glide
The chair glides as well as swivels, so you can rock a baby to settle without getting up.
Separate cushions
The back and the seat cushion are separate pieces. That gives the chair its soft, deep look and extra padding where you sit and lean.
Flat-topped square arms
The arms are square and level on top, which gives you a steady place to rest a forearm or a feeding pillow.
Textured cream linen
The fabric is a cream linen with a natural, slightly uneven texture. Light colours show marks, so deal with spills straight away.
Plugs into the wall
The recline is powered, so the chair has a cord and needs a power point nearby. Work out where the cord will run before you choose where the chair goes.

How do I recline and swivel the Luna?
The recline is electric: press the panel on the side of the arm and the back tilts while the footrest lifts. The swivel is manual. Turn the chair by hand up to 270 degrees and lock the base when you want it to stay put. The chair glides too. Only the recline needs power.
Does it need to be plugged in?
Yes, for the recline. The chair has a cord and needs a nearby power point. Run the cord where it can't be stepped on or caught when you swivel. The swivel and its lock work without power.
Is linen hard to keep clean?
Cream linen shows marks, so it pays to wipe spills early. Use a damp cloth as the care panel says, and don't soak the fabric.
How does the Luna differ from the Ivory?
