Five market baskets, one big shopping trip

The Pretend Market Basket Set bundles five of Tender Leaf's wooden play food baskets: bread, seafood, vegetables, fruit and charcuterie. Each one comes in its own woven basket filled with detailed wooden food, so children can run a market stall, stock a pretend kitchen or set up a picnic.

What is in each basket

The bread basket holds loaves and pastries. The seafood basket has fish, prawns and shells. The veggie basket carries avocado, peppers and other garden vegetables. The fruity basket is full of watermelon, kiwi, grapes and oranges. The charcuterie basket has cured meats and other deli favourites.

Sorting and sharing

Five baskets give children plenty to sort. They group by colour, by food type or by what goes in the oven and what goes in the fridge. A group of friends can each run their own stall, or one child can carry all five to the table to make dinner.

One order for the whole market

Buying the baskets as a set means one order for the complete market, with no need to add five baskets to the cart one by one. If you would like to start smaller, each one is also sold separately: the Bread Basket, Seafood Basket, Veggie Basket, Fruity Basket and Charcuterie Meat Basket.
