A lumberjack train set with magnets

The Wild Pines Train Set is a 30-piece wooden train set with a forest story built in. A small engine pulls three carriages carrying 27 coloured logs. Beside the track, a logging truck holds nine long timbers on magnetic spots, and a loader vehicle uses a magnet to pick logs up and drop them on the truck.

What is on the table

There is a lot more than track. A log pile with a sleeping bear, a lake with two magnetic boulders and a big bear, four cut timber logs and a tree nursery with six trees in different stages of growth fill out the scene. Three big fir trees block the line until a child rotates them out of the way, which adds a small puzzle to every circuit.

Rebuild it any way you like

The track pieces can be rearranged into new layouts, and there is a bridge over the lake. Kids can leave the scene on a table or move the whole thing to the floor. It is built from wood, so it copes with years of rebuilding and crashing.

Size

The set measures about 94 cm by 63 cm by 16 cm and weighs around 2.5 kg.

Pair it with

The Cosmic Rocket Set and Wooden Car Transporter share the same hand-painted style, and the Fir Tree Set adds extra forest. Browse more track and vehicles in the train set collection.
