The McLaren P1's lighting works the way a real car's lights work. The headlights illuminate as the car drives forward, while the reverse lights illuminate when backing up — exactly like the real thing. Especially impressive during indoor sessions in dimly lit rooms, where the LED lighting brings the futuristic McLaren design to life.
The 2.4GHz radio frequency is interference-free — meaning multiple Rastar RC cars can race together at the same time without signal drop-out. The dual-grip controller is comfortable for little hands and easy to learn. Five functions: forward, reverse, left, right, and stop — plus the door-open/close button. Top speed approximately 8.2 km/h, with a remote range of up to 30 metres — plenty for indoor driving, hallway runs, or backyard fun on smooth surfaces.
Surface note: Performs best on smooth, flat surfaces — timber floors, tiles, concrete, or asphalt. Not suitable for sand, grass, gravel, or thick carpet.

The McLaren P1 (2013-2015) is one of the rarest McLarens in modern history — production was strictly limited to just 375 units worldwide, all of which sold out before the car officially launched. Combining a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor, the P1 produced a combined 903 horsepower and was famous as one of the "Holy Trinity" of hybrid hypercars alongside the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder — three groundbreaking electrified supercars unveiled within months of each other in 2013. The P1 was also the direct predecessor to the McLaren Senna (also in our range), making this RC car a piece of McLaren hybrid hypercar history.
